Failedrockstar is about people committing to their creativity despite the inherent risk of failure involved. Beginning in 2003 as a personal photocopied zine, Failedrockstar soon developed into a quality art publication, supporting and promoting a wide-range of drawing, painting, writing, photography and design, all presented in a specially handmade format. After a hiatus of a couple of years Failedrockstar is now focused on an ongoing series of interviews with artists from a range of disciplines. Through talking to creative people, about how and why they do what they do, Failedrockstar is interested in exploring and documenting the creative process and the artistic life.
