Interview # 6
Mr. Bingo
For a long time Mr. Bingo was unsure what to do with his head of ideas and his compulsion to draw. Now, he spends many many hours in his studio in London as an illustrator, letting his sense of humour loose in magazines & advertisements and on book covers & t-shirts.
“I used to get anxious that I wasn’t good enough, even when people tell you that you are. I do constantly need people to tell me I’m good though. Not like actually saying ‘Hey, you’re really good at this’, but if I do a bit of work I do want them to say ‘Thanks, it’s great, we like it.’ If I didn’t get that I think I would probably have an anxiety problem.”
